Here’s the thing. I already love you.

You pour so much of your time, energy, and unique genius into loving your people. And animals. And plants. And probably other people’s animals and plants.

You’re doing your life, every day, and sometimes it’s awful and sometimes it’s great and sometimes you find this place in all of the crazy and you stop and you breathe and you think “THIS. YES. MORE OF THIS.”

Humans make art about what matters.

Scrapbooks. Sculptures. Graffiti. Gardens. Macaroni necklaces. Monuments. Since we could stack rocks, humans have been creating things to capture that powerful feeling, to say “THIS is what matters to ME.”

We feel amazing when we’re aligned with what matters. So we make art to turn the intangible into something solid, something we can look at again and again and say “This. Yes. More of this.”

Photos on our phones can’t capture everything.

The sounds of finches as you lay on your 9-year-old stomach, fishing for tadpoles.

The smell of the sun on the grass at a soccer game.

The taste of your dad’s favorite popcorn, the one he’s been making the exact same way for decades.

The warmth of holding your grandmother’s hand.

There are so many things worth remembering that we just don’t have pictures of.

Your life is a work of art

You make thousands of decisions every day, and over and over again you choose joy. You choose to show up, to follow through, to give hugs and share meals and sing along even when you don’t know all the words.

You care for yourself and for so many others. You nail it and fail it and whether it was a good day or a bad day, you choose to get up tomorrow and try again.

You are LOVE, and that matters.

I love making art about what matters

I make paintings that celebrate the glory, drama, and magic that is hidden in every human life.

If it makes your heart skip, your face light up, or your eyes soften, I want to hear about it.

And then I want to take you on a journey to turn it into something beautiful and tangible so that every day you can look at it and think, “This. YES. More of THIS.”

You and what you love—I can’t wait to paint it together.

If you love art, if you value mindfulness, if you want to tangibly increase the amount of joy and gratitude in your life, then I would love to work with you.

The journey starts with a (free!) listening session.

I listen as you tell me all about a person, a moment, a chapter of your life, or something else entirely. It’s your chance to focus on your THIS, to give your soul some time to bask in what is precious to you.

I promise you will walk away feeling grounded and delighted in who you are and what you value (and we’ll record the session so you can revisit it whenever you want).

While her practical skills are polished, her intuition and ability to provoke thought, tell a story, and promote the feeling of belonging, is where her art really shines. I crave our interactions because I walk away feeling good about myself and that truly is a gift that I can’t monetize or buy.
